Samsung are launching their latest Galaxy model in the more-reasonably priced "A" range - and it promises to be the cheapest 5G handset from the South Koreans for some time yet. We think it's got all the right ingredients to be a success, but will they get it right?

Display - Galaxy A90
The A90 5G is rather large - that much is obvious from the photos and leaks. While the Galaxy A90 5G doesn’t pack quite the power you’d find on the Note 10, it’s not far off. There’s a Snapdragon 855 chipset powering the device paired with either 6 or 8GB of RAM depending on which model you choose. That’s a lot more power than you’d normally find in a phone in the A-series.
If you felt the Note 10 Plus was too big then the A90 5G probably isn’t for you either ... it's huge. The 6.7-inch display is massive and as the bezel is slightly wider than Samsung’s sleeker Note series it does feel like an even bigger phone overall. It's massive!

Pricing has yet to be announced. In Germany it is advertised for sale at 749 EUR so expect a price of about £649 here - not cheap for the 'A' range, which is usually much cheaper than equivalent 'S' models like the S10 Plus.
