iPhone 14 Plus Contract Deals – How To Find Them

Looking for a cheap monthly contract for Apple's iPhone 14 Plus? Then check our monthly deals and offers, we compare prices from all the major networks in the UK for the iPhone 14 Plus as well as all other popular iPhone models.

iPhone 14 Plus: Quick specs

The iPhone 14 Plus comes with a 6.1 inch touchscreen with 458PPI. It packs a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel selfie-camera with the Photonic Engine. This is all powered by the Apple A15 Bionic (5 nm) chipset and 4GB of RAM.

Whether you're a current iPhone user or considering purchasing one, you'll probably find that the iPhone 14 Plus is a great choice.

With its powerful camera and water-resistant features, this smartphone has something to offer for anyone.

iPhone 14 Plus: Pros & Cons

Whether you are looking for a new iPhone, or are just comparing the pros and cons of two of the world's most popular smartphones, you are sure to be interested in the battery life of the iPhone 14 Plus. This 6.7 inch iPhone is a good all-rounder for the money. It offers impressive battery life for its size, and it is easy to odperate.

Apple has made great strides in improving the battery life of its iPhones over the years. For example, it now has the ability to fast charge, and it can recharge to 50 percent in 30 to 35 minutes with a 20W power adapter. The battery in the iPhone 14 Plus is a whopping 4,323mAh. This battery is about 29mAh smaller than the one in the iPhone 6 Plus, but it is still bigger than the 3,600mAh battery in the iPhone 7 Plus.

Despite the large battery, the iPhone 14 Plus is still small enough to fit in your pocket. It weighs only a hair over two ounces, and it is easy to carry around. The phone also has a big screen, which makes it a great choice for those who want a big iPhone at a small price.

iPhone 14 Plus: Is the screen better?

Compared to the display of the iPhone 13, the display of the iPhone 14 Plus has a larger diagonal size and higher resolution. The display is also much brighter.

The iPhone 14 Plus features a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR display with a 458ppi resolution and a 2 million to 1 contrast ratio. It also supports True Tone and HDR.

This display has a super-low power mode that is designed to help you access the most important information without draining the battery. The display also features a 1Hz refresh rate that is enabled by a new feature called Always-On. This feature is also capable of keeping time.

The iPhone 14 Plus also supports an eSIM. An eSIM is a digital SIM card that is more secure. It allows you to switch carriers easier.

Apple has also designed the new iPhone 14 Plus with a durable aerospace-grade aluminium chassis. It also has dust resistance and a ceramic shield front cover. It also has rounded corners and a "notch" bubble.

Apple has also added a textured matte glass design. The front cover is tougher than most smartphone glass. It also features thinner borders. Its display has a higher peak brightness than the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Design

Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 14 Plus is a relatively incremental upgrade. It features a larger 6.7-inch display with a Super Retina XDR OLED screen, a 12MP dual-lens camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera.

The larger size means that Apple can fit a larger battery into the chassis. This translates into great battery life. The design also features a flat panel with sharp aluminum edges. It has an oleophobic coating that helps minimize smudges. The glass panel on the back is made by Corning, which is marketed as the toughest smartphone glass available.

The display is equipped with P3 color gamut and True Tone. It also supports HDR. It also has a new advanced stabilization mode. It's also available in four metallic shades.

The front-facing TrueDepth camera features an improved f/1.9 aperture and supports autofocus. It also supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The rear-facing camera is a 12MP dual-lens system, but Apple did away with the much-maligned selfie-camera notch.

The iPhone 14 Plus also supports Apple Pay. Its screen is powered by OLED technology, which has a 2 million-to-1 contrast ratio. The display supports True Tone and HDR playback. It's also water-resistant. It is IP68 rated, which means that it's rated to survive 6 meters deep water.

Screen resolution of iPhone 14 Plus

Compared to other iPhones of yore, the iPhone 14 Plus has some new tricks up its sleeve. Its most notable feature is a larger display that boasts an impressive 458 pixels per inch (ppi) and a native resolution of 2778 x 1284 pixels.

The iPhone 14 also boasts an improved selfie camera with autofocus and a bigger aperture. The handset also sports a new always-on display that allows you to see your widgets without having to hit the snooze button.

It may be a bit of a stretch to call the iPhone 14 Plus a best-in-class contender, but the company hasn't left much to chance. Its 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display has a 1200 nits peak brightness, a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and OLED screen technology. The LTPO version of the handset also offers variable refresh rates that range from 60 to 120 Hz.

The screen is a little overshadowed by the iPhone's stuttering A15 chip, but the display is still impressive. The A15 has five GPU cores instead of the standard four. This should deliver significantly better graphics performance than last year's model.

As a result, the display on the iPhone 14 Plus does not show every detail as easily as it should. Its screen also has a fixed refresh rate of 60 Hz, which is fine, but it's not the same as a 120Hz panel on the Pro model.

Camera reviewed (Update)

Compared to previous iPhone models, the camera on the iPhone 14 Plus features an improved TrueDepth front camera with a wider f/1.9 aperture and autofocus. The primary camera has a larger sensor and supports 2x optical zoom, while the rear camera features a new 12MP ultrawide-angle secondary camera.

The new Photonic Engine is a computational photography technology that boosts image quality in both low and mid light conditions, while preserving subtle textures and details. It's not a feature you can turn on, but it does improve the low-light performance of the camera by utilizing machine learning.

The iPhone 14 Plus' new dual-camera system offers a number of improvements, including faster exposure times, larger f/1.5 aperture, improved True Tone flash, sensor-shift optical image stabilization, and 1.9 um pixels. These upgrades allow you to take photos and videos with better contrast and sharpness in all lighting conditions.

Is SIM Only better for iPhone 14 Plus?

Generally speaking, SIM Only is cheaper but you don't have the benefit of paying monthly for your handset like the Apple iPhone 14 Plus, so it only really makes financial sense if you are in the fortunate position to be able to buy the handset outright first. Yes, it works out cheaper overall if you can do that, at least nearly always – but it is really a personal preference. Find out more about SIM Only Deals here

Not sure which mobile network to go for?

Foned completely gets it, it's not easy trying to understand the differences of each mobile network operator. Is o2 any better than Vodafone for this smartphone, when it comes to coverage? Or worse? It's a real minefield. Another example, which is better? A Apple iPhone 14 Plus ee contract or a Apple iPhone 14 Plus Tesco Mobile contract?

The reality is, it can make a huge difference to your satifaction with the overall product. Who wants to have cruddy download speeds? But never fear – Foned is here. Don't forget to check our latest Blog posts below.

Before you decide to buy a contract or handset, it's important to know if you'll get a signal. Who wants to be walking around into mobile network's blackholes?! After all, ordering your brand new Apple iPhone 14 Plus contract only to find you can't use your data (never mind going over the allowance!) in your own house will be pretty not cool.

A simple website a number of our visitors have used is Open Signal which maps signals across all major mobile networks within the UK.

So which UK network has the best signal?

According to Which?, in their recent research, they focused on 4G performance and found that EE offered the fastest average 4G download speeds of the four networks (EE, O2, Three and Vodafone). While EE customers enjoyed average 4G download speeds of 29Mbps, those using the O2 network had to put up with an average speed of just 15.1Mbps.

EE's network was also at the top of the list when it came to the availability of its 4G signal, with customers able to access it 78.5% of the time. Customers with Three had the poorest access to a 4G signal - they were able to access it just 57.1% of the time – that's only just more than half the time, 24/7!
